Since 7 October, we have witnessed a steady rise in Aliyah from across Europe. In recent months, as antisemitism has become increasingly widespread, violent, and even institutionalised, more and more European Jews are turning their eyes towards Israel – seeing Aliyah as both a lifeline and a calling.
Shivat Zion is the only dedicated and officially recognised Aliyah charity serving Europe. Every day, we receive an increasing number of requests for guidance, support, and practical assistance.

Every pound, euro, shekel, or dollar truly makes a difference – shaping the help we can provide in 2026 and transforming lives through the most important journey of all: coming home to Israel.
In 2025, up to November, Shivat Zion has already handled 517 complex cases, 4,914 help requests and 344 personal meetings with Olim – a 30 per cent increase with two months still remaining.
In 2024, we assisted 577 complex cases and 4,749 regular requests, a 23 per cent rise compared with 2023.
Israel: Donations in shekels (₪) are tax-deductible under Section 46 of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance.
United Kingdom: Donations in pounds (£) qualify for Gift Aid.
United States: Donations in US dollars (US $) are deductible under IRS Code Section 170.
Netherlands: Donations in euros (€) are deductible through the ANBI scheme.
Canada: Donations in Canadian dollars (CA $) qualify for the CRA Charitable Donations Tax Credit.
